Wayne County Walking Trails: If you enjoy birding; Beechwood State Park has over 30 species of Warblers. I never knew there were so many. I happened to be out on a birding walk  in Beechwood State Park with a group of well versed birders a few years ago. I am just an amature, but this group could identify the birds by their song. AMAZING!  Beechwood State Park is located on Lake Road in Sodus, NY  next door to Maxwell Creek Inn Bed & Breakfast. It's an old girl scout camp New York State purchased about 16 years ago to preserve waterfront property. The paths are groomed and easy to walk all the way to the lake.  For more information on Beechwood State Park and things to do while you are here go to: http://www.waynecountytourism.com
