Little do most people know that Wayne County, NY is the second largest apple producing region in the United States next to Washington State.  Let me repeat myself. Wayne County, NY is the second largest apple producing region in the United States next to Washington State.  And we're pretty proud of that little tidbit.

For nearly 20 years the apple farmers in Wayne County, NY have hosted an Apple Tasting Tour featuring a plethora of varieties of apples. You name them, we've got them. This is a self guided tour. Start where you want and end your day at Maxwell Creek Inn Bed & Breakfast where you can enjoy a baked apple dessert in the evening and a savory apple omelet for breakfast in the morning when you stay.

Travel the scenic country roads through orchard upon orchard from farm market to farm market. Sample the uniqueness of each apple offered.  Learn what apples are best for cooking and what ones are best for just eating.  U-Pick and other fresh produce, baked goods, and cider will be available for purchase.
